Who we are:
Tidey’s was established in the early 90’s as a spin-off of the successful lock and key business. As demand for engraving services and basic trophy work increased, a dedicated trophy shop was established in North Vancouver. Re-launched under new ownership in 2007, Tidey’s continues to provide the north shore with traditional engraving services while introducing new offerings such as laser engraving.

Our CO2 laser system allows us to engrave on a variety of surfaces. This allows us to provide a traditional engraved plate in a fraction of the time as compared to traditional mechanical engraving. It also allows us to engrave a huge variety of substrates, such as glass, acrylic, stainless steel, leather and many others.
Our colour sublimation services allow us to “print” colour directly onto metal surfaces. Using a heat press and specially formulated toner dye the printing is actually applied under the surface of the metal. Using this process, we’re able to reproduce full colour customer logos on applications such as name tags within minutes. We’re creating instantly more unique and personal recognition products for our clients.
Our traditional mechanical engraver remains the backbone of the company. Our primary repeat business is the annual updates of customer trophies. By maintaining records of material, shape and printing design, we can create these updates for our clients without the trophies themselves being on hand. Our customers save time, and the product remains consistent. These factors significantly increase the likelihood of the trophy coming back for annual servicing.
Finally we offer a variety of products through our partnerships with local and Canadian businesses. This allows us to provide custom forged medals and pins, embroidered patches, custom printed ribbons and cast bronze plaques.
