Ways to recognize students’ achievements in school running clubs

Product Information

It’s official. Spring has arrived.

With this new season comes a fresh start—blossoming flowers, increased daylight hours and balmy temperatures. Kids are back in school after Spring Break ready to take on the tail end of the school year. Rain or shine, schools are offering students more opportunities to get fit outdoors.

One fun way elementary schools get kids moving and achieving their fitness goals this time of year is through Kilometre Clubs. How? Kilometre Clubs offer students the opportunity to walk and run laps around fields or other school areas before, during, or after school hours each week. While students run, parent or teacher volunteers record the number of kilometres they cover and tally up the results to measure their progress.

Looking for a memorable way to recognize students’ accomplishments in elementary school Kilometre Clubs? Consider ribbons and medals. Below you’ll learn more about how these popular recognition products can make a lasting impression by encouraging students to do their best and helping them feel a sense of accomplishment.

Ribbons help recognize students’ running achievements

A great way to celebrate and acknowledge students’ accomplishments in Kilometre Clubs is with ribbons. Why? Students can proudly wear or showcase them as a symbol of their hard work. They’re colourful, comfortable and you can personalize them with messages to make a lasting impression. Ribbon awards can help provide some extra motivation for students to achieve their fitness goals.

Using medals to reward high achievers in Kilometre Clubs

Medals are another excellent way to recognize outstanding student efforts in your school’s Kilometre Club. Consider rewarding high achievers, the ones who walked or ran the most kilometres, with personalized medals. You can choose to engrave medals with basic information on the back, such as the school name and year, or select from a number of custom options we have available. Want to recognize all participants with medals? We offer bulk pricing for basic stock medals. Contact us for details.
